A recent note I received from The Universe:
“When the external begins to define the internal, Meriel, instead of the internal defining the external, one begins living as a mortal rather than as a god. Trust me, as a god is better. Boom…. The Universe.”
I love this metaphor. I think not only of gods, but also superheroes, and what befalls them when they are made human. However, it assumes that the capacity for greatness (god-ness) isn’t a human capacity. And that’s nonsense!
This is about believing in oneself. Knowing that there is absolutely no limit to what you can achieve. And knowing it YOURSELF. Without asking for reassurance or permission from others.
Asking for feedback is great. Just as long as that’s all it is. And that having received it, you are still scaling the heights of your own achievements.
I know that when I give away my own response, my own mind, my own permission, I shrink a little every day. My confidence and self-believe disappear. Until I no longer know my own mind. I’m defined by someone else. It happens to us all from time to time.
Choose to live as a god. Divest yourself of your mortal chains and give me a shout.
